We thought it would make sense to explain what a design consultation entails. These are *FREE* to our potential clients and are much more involved than you would think. Many people say you can’t get anything for free but for this, they are wrong. We spend the time and the focus on your home, we meet with you and find out more about you and your space. We find out things like what you use your space for and what design dreams you have for your space. Even if you think you do not know the terminology of classical, modern, eclectic or what that means, you DO know what you want to experience and live in every day and our experts help you put that into words.
Our project managers/designers (a few that have been profiled meet Mary and meet John) are focused and able to walk you through the terms and the key points of your house. They can see with their experience what can work and what will work best.
We focus exclusively on residential properties and our expertise is in the New York City / Western Brooklyn environment, which means we get small spaces. We get small spaces and we know how to renovate them and make them look bigger with more light, more space and more function. Something that showcases this is a quote from a post about our designer/project manager John – “We took the originally enclosed kitchen and made it an open concept. Added ceiling lighting in living room,kitchen & bathroom where there was none (original 8’-2”high ceilings, slab construction) without channeling through slab and without giving up more than 2” of height in some areas of the apartment only.”
